Job Overview
We’re looking for an Unraid OS user who is also a skilled Technical Writer to help us maintain, add to, and improve our docs.
You'll work with our Director of Product to ensure that all documentation including guides, manuals, and FAQs are up to date, clear, and easy to follow for both beginners and advanced users. We have an established style guide that should be followed and improved upon. Our docs are hosted with Docusaurus and are located at docs.unraid.net.
We are interested in establishing a long-term contract relationship with the right person. There will be opportunity to expand the scope in the future into additional technical writing or editing assignments such as guides and changelogs. We are aiming to create a workflow that supports asynchronous communication via our PM tool, Asana, with synchronous chats or meetings done via Discord.
