Unraid OS 7.2.8 Now Available

Unraid OS 7.2.8 is a stable, security-focused update that addresses multiple CVE's found across a wide range of base system components. There are also upgrades to the Linux kernel, updates to the Unraid API, and broad base distro package updates. 

We recommend all users on 7.2.X and earlier upgrade to receive the security fixes.

Security

This release addresses security findings in components affecting Unraid OS 7.2.7, including bind, curl, dnsmasq, iperf3, libXfont2, libevent, libgpg-error, libidn, libseccomp, libssh, nginx, OpenSSH, OpenSSL, p11-kit, rsync, Samba, shadow, sqlite, and xorg-server. Beyond the security-tagged packages, this release carries a broad refresh of the base distribution — 182 packages updated in total, plus 5 newly added (iotop-c, libcbor, libdisplay-info, libfido2, libmaxminddb). A few worth calling out:
