Unraid OS 7.2.6 Now Available
Happy Friday. We're sending you into the weekend with Unraid 7.2.6 which upgrades the Linux kernel to address the Dirty Frag local privilege escalation vulnerability. All users should update.
Security
This release contains one change: a Linux kernel upgrade to version 6.12.87-Unraid. The upgrade addresses CVE-2026-43284 and CVE-2026-43500, collectively referred to as Dirty Frag — a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Linux kernel.
No other changes are included in 7.2.6. Due to the severity of this, all users are highly encouraged to update!
