Key Release Highlights

Native ZFS Support

Unraid now includes built-in support for ZFS, the advanced file system celebrated for its robustness, performance, and advanced data integrity features. Whether you're using ZFS pools for high-performance storage or safeguarding your data with snapshots, Unraid now seamlessly integrates ZFS, offering unparalleled flexibility in the NAS OS market.

unRAID Array Now Optional

Unraid now allows users to run servers without the unRAID array, enabling improved functionality with all flash SSD and NVME hardware systems.

Tailscale Integration

Remote access has never been easier or more secure. With Tailscale, Unraid users can quickly connect to their servers from anywhere without the complexity of traditional VPNs. Use cases range from remote GUI access to securely sharing data across devices and networks.

You can now optionally install Tailscale in almost any Docker container, allowing you to share containers with specific people, access them using valid https certificates, and give them alternate routes to the Internet via Exit Nodes natively through Unraid!

VM Manager Improvements

The updated VM Manager includes enhanced functionality and performance, ensuring a smoother and more robust experience for those managing virtual machines. Features like streamlined setup and better performance optimizations make virtualization on Unraid even easier via added support for VM clones, snapshots, and evdev passthru.

The VM editor now has a new read-only inline XML mode for advanced users, making it clear how the GUI choices affect the underlying XML used by the VM.

Refined WebGUI

The Unraid WebGUI gets a facelift and enhancements to streamline navigation and functionality with an integrated file manager, integrated GUI Search, enhanced Dashboard tab, Outgoing Proxy Manager, and more included in this rc.
