Download Unraid OS
Choose the setup tool that fits your use case.
Download the Unraid USB Creator
The USB Creator is recommended for most users.
Create an Unraid USB flash drive from your Windows, macOS, or Linux computer, then, move it to your server, boot Unraid, and complete your setup in the onboarding wizard. On supported systems, you can switch to internal boot during onboarding.
Unraid Installer
For internal, remote, and virtualized deployments
Boot the Installer directly onto the target machine using a connected display or remote console. Install Unraid to a USB flash drive or supported internal storage without first preparing an Unraid USB on another computer.
The Unraid Installer is best for internal boot, IPMI/iDRAC, Proxmox and other compatible virtual environments, remote dedicated servers, and OEM deployment.
Requirement: Using the Unraid installer requires display or console access to the target machine. Internal boot requires Unraid 7.3 or later.
